    Risto Kupsala:It's possible (and recommended) to write more than one translation when it's appropriate. Also it's OK to edit earlier translations, if you are sure that you know better. In this case I would recommend to include both translations, because they are both correct. Maybe we should create a new page for "(I'm) sorry". In many languages "apology = sorry" but not in every language...
    abernaith:Hello! I have a friend with me here who has passed the Level 2 JLPT. So please consider what we have to say: About the Japanese translation of "apologize", we think that 'ayamaru' (謝る), which is literally 'to apologize', would be the better choice, because it is more commonly used than "shazai suru". Also, "Gomen nasai" means "(I'm) sorry", and therefore would be misleading.
