Risto Kupsala:This is something that we should discuss thoroughly. Let's continue this discussion in the [Forum], because it's not possible to format text here.
Arvind Iyengar:Ok I had no idea. The past comments simply stated that 'Hungarian and Greek were added to the list', or something to that effect. I assumed that it was ok to add another language if one had the knowledge/resources. But yes, we should discuss the addition of a new language, and the proficiency of the person who added it. So here's my bit - My mother tongue is a dialect midway between Kannada and Tamil, and though I'm not fluent in Kannada, I have access to a good dictionary and two fluent speakers - my parents : )
Jens Wilkinson:I think in this case it's not a problem, but generally, I think we should discuss things in the main forum before making a change like adding a new language. When I added Hungarian and Greek, it was just administrative, i.e. we had decided to have them but they weren't on the list.
